I applied through LinkedIn for this job no issues there and my first call was with HR. The call went well and was typical HR talk with some small technical aspects but nothing too serious. I was then contacted to do the 2nd round interview. The second part was to talk with a service desk manager. That interview had also gone well so I was invited for a 3rd round physical interview. I was told my interview was going to be with the COO and the same service desk manager I had talked to during my 2nd round but once I got there I was informed it was only going to be with the service desk manager. Towards the end of my interview I was informed that they had already hired for the positon they were looking at me for by the service desk manager I had spoked to last week. During my follow up with HR I told them how the interviewer informed me of this and they seemed to be unaware of the fact the position had been filled. I lived out of state so the physical 3rd round interview took me over 4 hours of travel time to get to. Overall I was very disappointed by the unprofessionalism and just not being properly informed of the position being filled. HR even mentioned that they would not have had me come down to interview if they knew that was the case. I don’t think this is HRs fault and worry about the communication in this company
