First call was a get-to-know-you call with an executive FA who wanted to get an idea of my experience and interests in the field. The recruiter provided him an out-of-date resumé, but he was flexible and engaging and willing to answer any of my questions. I was invited into the office as a next step to meet the team.

Had one interview and was asked to speakwith2 other people. One was a peer of what would be my manager and then a woman over the branch network for the Southeast region.

About a week after applying, I received a voicemail from a hiring manager to set up a phone meeting to interview. We set up a phone appointment, however, I received the call well before the agreed upon time. Unfortunately I was finishing another phone appointment and was not able to pick up. This was already a negative sign. He finally did call back and the first thing he talked about was himself. The conversation was more a smooth talking sales pitch about himself and the bank vs accurate information and specifics. Overall I came away with a negative feeling about the position, the bank, how the FA would be supported in the role, potential revolving door environment, and more importantly, the veracity of the information received.
