I remember this applicant. We have a number of troubleshooting questions that we ask of our applicants. We start with the simple ones first. We do this to help put the applicant as ease. Most applicants are a little nervous during the interview process. We want to give the applicant a chance to answer a few easy questions before they start getting more difficult. This particular applicant missed the first easy question. I felt sorry for him and thought maybe he was nervous so I changed the subject and talked about something else for a few minutes and then asked him the same question a different way. He missed the question again and again. I did not want to be rude and just end the interview abruptly, so I wrapped up the interview trying not to hurt his feelings. I believe the interview lasted 20 to 25 minutes.
