After a short phone-call with the hiring manager about the general terms of the role (on-site, flights etc.) and industry match I was invited for an interview on site with the manager and his previous. I felt like a good match except in a specific subject where I couldn't demonstrate an experience but just describe my abilities and potential. The interviewers answered my questions honestly (and I had a lot) and I was impressed by the company's culture. about 2 weeks later I received a phone call from the HR manager that notified me they continue with another candidate. I really appreciate it was a personal notice.
