Initially, I worked with Ms. Esther Deutsch in the initial phone screen, who was very pleasant and gave me a warm introduction to RCS. My face to face interview on the other hand was anything but. The interview was scheduled close to the end of the day, so this could be a contributing factor, but my interviewer seemed he couldn't care less about me being there or what I had to say. He was constantly on his phone, typing away, never making eye contact and I could tell he hadn't even read my resume when he actually did engage me. His biggest concern, despite me having 20 years of experience in IT, for firms big and small (including MSPs such as this) was why I didn't have any certifications and what my reaction would be if I were forced to get one as a requirement for employment. In the end, given this treatment and idea that someone who is certified would be more reliable and trust-worthy than someone with years of IT experience, it was beneficial for both sides that no offer was made.
