You start with a test online. It’s a lot of math, statistics, and reasoning. The next step is to record answers to interview questions. It’s timed and you’re expected to answer in STAR format. The last step is an in person interview which was pretty normal.

The interview for me was a 3 part process. The first two were recorded and AI style inquiries. The last was an in-person (virtual) interview. I highly recommend anyone who is interviewing to learn the S.T.A.R. method of answering qurstions. This actually is good advice for interviewing for any position in any industry. Anyway, back to Progressive. It was almost a month long process. At least 7-10 days in between each step. It was a bit scary having radio silence during the process, but if this is a company you are aiming for, I suggest you just utilize your patience in the process. They will want to know the basic questions and qualifications you possess. They also will want to know about your time-management, how you relate to customers and handle stressful situations, deadlines and the big one "WHY DO YOU WANT TO WORK FOR PROGRESSIVE?" Like I said, research the company, be prepared with answers and just remember to breathe and do your best.

Star format, 1 interview with HR, one with local manager and personality test. It was not particularly difficult. However, I would recommend preparing extra. They do expect you to answer everything in STAR format.
