I had three interviews at Proctor Exam (part of Turnitin now). The process was somewhat efficient. All three interviews were one week after the other (3 weeks' time), I only had to wait for a final answer a little bit longer, so the whole process lasted around 5 weeks. The first interview was with the recruiter. It was a nice conversation about my experiences and expectations. The second interview was supposed to be with two people (customer experience manager, and another key account manager that would potentially work closely with me). However, another sales manager joined the talk and that surprised me a little bit. Still, we had a very nice conversation and I liked the team. For the third interview I had to prepare an assigment (a contract renewal proposal for a strategically important partner). It was a pretty straight forward excercise, but it still took me quite some time to prepare it thoroughly. Three people were supposed to join the interview from their side, but once I joned the Zoom call, I realized there will be a group of 5 people interviewing me. Together with the excercise it was an overwhelming interview, as each person had their most challenging question for me. They only left 5 minutes for my own questions. It felt like almost the whole team got to know me, but I did not really get enough time to get to know them. After two weeks they informed me that they selected someone internal for the position. The feedback from the recruiter was great and he wanted to assure me that I did not waste my time and that they would reach out for another suitable position. Unfortunately I was left ignored when I inquired for another suitable position one month after.
