Interview Experience – Lack of Follow-Up and Professionalism I interviewed for the Construction Scheduler role and went through four rounds of interviews over a significant period of time. The interviews themselves were fine, but the process ultimately broke down at the HR level. After completing all interviews, I received no follow-up whatsoever—no rejection, no update, no closure. Repeated outreach was met with silence. After investing substantial time and preparation, this lack of basic communication was frustrating and unprofessional. Multiple interviews create an implicit expectation of respect and transparency. Even a brief status update would have demonstrated courtesy. Instead, the experience left the impression that candidate time is not valued and that internal coordination or accountability may be lacking. For a company operating in large-scale, high-stakes infrastructure, I expected a more organized and communicative hiring process. I hope this is an area the company improves, because the way candidates are treated during hiring often reflects internal culture. Advice to management: Close the loop. Even a short email matters. Advice to candidates: Set boundaries on time investment and manage expectations.
