This was a really odd experience. A recruiter reached out to me on LinkedIn, but a different recruiter did the screening interview. She only gave me her first name and no contact info to follow up. She asked me exact dollar figures for the monthly sales in my current role even though I'm in a totally different niche industry. She then asked my what my current pay is, which is always a red flag that a company is planning to low ball their offer. And that was it, just what do you make and what are your current sales. She said she'd pass my resume along to the hiring manager and I never heard from them again. I asked the recruiter to tell me about the company and she didn't seem to know very much. I also asked her to describe the role and she was unable to do so. The whole thing was pretty unprofessional.
