      Solicité el puesto a través de un captador. El proceso duró 5 semanas. Acudí a una entrevista en Paybyrd (Lisboa, Lisboa) en oct 2025

      Entrevista

      The recruitment process was structured into three distinct stages: a standard initial screening call providing general information; an extended discussion with the Product Owner and CTO, which involved detailed planning regarding onboarding steps and necessary administrative documentation, suggesting a clear intention to move forward; and a final conversation with HR focused on my key career achievements and future professional perspectives. Following the completion of these stages, the process became characterized by a significant lack of communication. Despite the depth of the final interviews, I experienced a near-complete communication blackout for nearly a month. Emails requesting updates were consistently ignored. A response was eventually received, requiring me to wait an additional week before receiving an outcome. The final decision was relayed without timely or substantive feedback. The stated reason for not moving forward was the selection of another candidate who was immediately available and had the exact experience in the field. I must point out that my qualifications, as discussed throughout the process, aligned perfectly with the role's requirements, possessing equivalent and directly relevant experience. The sudden emphasis on immediate availability and a narrowly defined "exact" experience, after such an extensive and positive interview track, suggests the final decision was based on a logistical convenience rather than a true assessment of technical fit or quality. Overall, the professional and structured nature of the interview stages was severely undermined by the highly unprofessional and disorganized communication that followed. This lack of respect for a candidate's time significantly detracted from the experience.
