I was initial contacted by a recruiter via both email and phone call, within a minute of each other. Next was a couple of technical interview were set up for me to screen share a text editor and solve some problems and answer questions. The issues began here as the first interview had the interviewer no show, then reschedule the rescedule within 30 min of the appointed time. The second had to change who was doing the interview and the interview topics, again within a half an hour of the interview time. After all that the last interview was to be a client interview where I would meet with the client's project lead/liason. But, at this point Oslo was demanding that guarantee that I would take the offer before the interview. I told them that I was uncomfortable with this and wouldn't be committing to a company that wouldn't commit to me, but was willing to do the interview on those terms. It was at this point that they started offering to up my salary, pay for my taxes (still not sure what that meant exactly), there was suddenly a relocation package, and even to help find my girlfriend a job. But, I still had to shut down my other interviews and commit to them first. I was able to negotiate myself some more time, but would eventually stop the process. The interview process felt more like a face paced sales pitch, especially with nearly daily emails and calls and trying to paint themselves as having the full weight of the client, which is one of the big 4. It was an exciting opportunity with an interesting client, but if this is how they treat candidates I will not be finding out how they treat their contractors.

Initial HR call followed by skype technical round. Set up a call for 30 mins and after that a 1-1 call with a technical person for 1 hour. The recruiter did not respond to any follow up mails.
