I had three interviews, all of them remote (2 phone, 1 live video through HireVUE) each interview lasted between 30-45 minutes. The entire process took about two weeks including the background check. The talent acquisition manager let me know what to expect at each step of the process. The background check included a criminal & employment check.

Optiv is on the cutting edge of technology. Although it took me several attempts to get in, I finally did. The interviews were all conducted through Hirevue. I did not ever have to report to an office and the process allowed me to ever interview on my phone as not to interrupt my current job schedule.

The interviews were actually not conducted in the traditional sense. It was more like a conversation. Almost like a date. Of course a little uncomfortable at first but after the first few minutes it felt nothing like an interview. I generally felt that the hiring managers wanted to get to know me as a person rather than a regimented set of hiring questions. I met with the director and a manager on her team. So it was two separate interviews.
