Attended a zoom interview. After talking through about my profile over 20 minutes, the interviewer asked if I had any IMR experience which was not mentioned in the essential skills of the JD "Minimum 10 years relevant experience in industry-related role as project manager, ROV pilot, inspection coordinator;" The job description was very confusing to begin with. Not sure who they were looking to hire 10 year experience in Project Management or 10years experience as ROV pilot.
I came back as confused as the interviewer.
For future candidates reading this review: They may expect you to have Marine/ROV/Seabed inspection experience despite of having any transferable skills such as Project Management.
Final words of the interviewer: Look our for junior Project Management job or a Engineering role as this may suit your profile better. Very judgemental.
