I applied for another position and was contacted to interview for this position. The HR team was unorganized and they didn't send me any details about the position until 2 hours before the interview, such as position information and who I was interviewing with. I was interviewed by a panel, which included 2 management development program trainees. The interview felt like a training exercise for their management development program and all questions were asked from a standardized question sheet, which all four members of the panel took turns asking. The hiring manager was uninterested from the beginning and was checking his phone during the interview. He then proceeded to tell me that every single employee at the firm was a leader and he didn't like annoying questions. This was a waste of my time and I was treated unprofessionally. The HR individual kept referencing vision, passion, and leadership which are blanket concepts used by those who are attempting to appear to be engaging in modern business practices. The reality is that this firm is looking for individuals to make lateral moves, not developing 'leaders'.
Interviewed and declined offer. The Supply Chain recruiting is unforgiving if you decline an offer and there is no room to apply for other offers thereafter. You are blacklisted. The process was easy, once you are selected to interview.
