Panel interview. Two persons, CD and a Manager. Really cool atmosphere. It lasted for 3.5 hours but it was only because we started talking. It had two phases. The interview and then a creative test. The interview was great but i was low on the experience at the time so they decided that they wanted me to do a creative test. To be honest they wanted to give me a whole day to do the test but i was feeling over confident so i said i could do it in a hour. Challenge was accepted! Only i did not know that it was a 50+ question test and it covered almost everything you can write in advertising. From TVC, art concepts, radio jingles to short tweet campaigns... Questions were awesome, involving Genghis Khan and Life on Mars, but there was no way you can do it in hour, or five hours. I got my self... well shrewd. When i got to half i realized it was pointless so i went out and found every body on a cigarette break. I announced that i have completed. And everybody was in shock. While the CD was going over the test the others were congratulating me. CD stopped them and said: I'm You have failed... you completed only half. Everybody was looking at me. Cd asked: So? Tell me, what am i suppose to do now? I replied, with puppy eyes: You can hope that you can find some who can complete only half in an hour with so much confidence. I got the job. It was a cool interview, and now i kind a miss being junior.
