      Solicitud

Solicité el puesto a través de la escuela superior o la universidad. El proceso duró 6 semanas. Acudí a una entrevista en NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory en ene 2014

      Entrevista

The interview process began at a career fair for my college. Upon the conclusion of the career fair I received a call to interview with the recruiter the next day. The interview was more about what jobs or positions I would best fit into. The recruiter basically came out and told me that I was going to move on further. A week later I had an interview that was mostly technical. Then the next interview was tailored to a more specific group but also technical according to what was on my resume. About a month later I received a call saying that they wanted to fly me down to JPL and interview me in person. It was a full days worth of interviews with one group at JPL; however, others had to interview with multiple groups. All of the interviews where part technical and part about who I was and how I thought and solved problems. I also got to take a tour of JPL. After that I received an offer a mouth later. The whole process took about 2 months.

      Entrevista

A lot of JPL people came to the Aero/Astro department at MIT to recruit people. Even though I wasn't an aero/astro, they told me that they are definitely looking for EE people. I was interviewed for 30mins on campus by the then Deputy Director of the section I currently work at. This was back in Oct 2009. Then I was invited for an on-site interview in January. The on-site interview lasted an entire day. I spoke with about 5 different section managers, for an hour with each, who were interested in me working for their groups. At the end of the day I was asked who I had liked best. A few days later they gave me a call saying that they have an offer for me and that the manager that I liked best was also very interested in me joining his group. That was it.
