Entire process took around 4+ weeks, It starts when i got mail to apply for opportunity with Microsoft Hyderabad how ever i had all the process in Bangalore itself.then my resume got shortlisted, and asked to come for on site interview process. Round 1: Written Test based on pure .Net and its related contents. on first day then asked to leave as there was no panel available for further processing. Round 2: Second day , Technical Face to Face interview with Microsoft expert, (Questions were again from .Net basics and its component etc.) and some basic program to judge your programming knowledge. then there was a long gap as holiday season arrives. Round 3: Another Face to Face technical round, again same type of questions just programs changed. and some resume based questions as well Round 4: Machine Round (Hands On), This was tough as they need quality code not just working solution . i got 2 hour time to complete the solution but on paper as interviewer asked me to complete in 1 hour , because according to him this should not take more time. i was able to complete in 1 hour 20 min. He was satisfied with solution functionality but when it comes to code review then i was clean bowled by his questions. Some how i was able to justify my choices. In last after long discussion, i was shortlisted for further processing. Round 5: Hiring Manager Round, It went good till the point when he asked me to show the solution, as he seemed complete technical person, he went in depth of code, and found my way of approach not suitable. So that's it for my Microsoft interview process, after this two more rounds were there i guess.
