Recruiter screen, initial screening (analytical and product sense), next screen (analytical and product sense and leadership). Recruiter asks you detailed questions on your background and then if you move forward, they will do a prep call. While my analytical round went as expected, the product sense was a terrible experience. From the outset, the interviewer expressed a disinterest in frameworks, and I kept getting the sense that I was expected to align with a specific answer rather than demonstrate my structured thought process. I understand that interviews are often designed to challenge candidates’ approaches and adapt. However, asking for specifics without offering relevant context made the experience less positive and encouraging than I had anticipated.

The process began with an initial recruiter phone screen focused on my background, product experience, and interest in Meta. This was followed by a series of virtual interviews covering product sense, analytical thinking, execution, and behavioral questions. Interviewers asked me to work through product design scenarios, discuss how I would prioritize competing opportunities, define success metrics, and describe examples of cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management. The final round consisted of multiple back-to-back interviews with product managers and cross-functional partners. Overall, the process was structured, professional, and challenging. The interviewers were engaged and provided clear expectations for each interview.
