I applied through LinkedIn in March 2023. HR reached out to schedule a 30 min phone screening about 2 weeks later. The interview seemed to go really well. The person I talked to seemed to know a lot about the role, so I was able to ask more specific questions than one might normally save for the hiring manager. The role sounded like the perfect fit, and I checked off all the qualification requirements. At the end of the call, she said next steps would be to speak with the CFO. I followed up with HR 3x and never received any reply. Nothing even letting me know they're moving forward with another candidate. Completely ghosted.
