The hiring process was standard to most companies. If you were a potential candidate you would meet first with the hiring manager. After that first interview and classification of acceptable, you would be invited back to meet with HR to discuss more about the company and what it offered. If HR felt that there was a compatible match and offer was extended. Start date was in accordance to project needs and candidate availability.
