First I had an interview with HR that was ok. Second step was some coding platform like Hacker Rank. I had two assignments and 90 minutes to solve them. And there comes Third one, "The Interview". This was definitely one of the worst interview experiences I ever had, if not THE WORST. Some Indian guy was interviewing me, and when I joined the call I joined with my camera turned ON, but his camera was OFF, so I turned my OFF as well and then he said: "No, no. Turn on your camera" on which I replied: "Sure, but can you turn on yours too?" He: "Mhh, No!" Me: "Isn't it weird that you don't want to turn on your camera, but requesting me to turn mine on?" He: "I'm an interviewer and I can have my camera off, but you have to turn your on, that's the company policy" I don't know why I decided to continue with this interview, but it was the wrong decision and from that point onward interview transformed into a painful interrogation. I swear it felt like being interrogated somewhere in the dark room where they turn on lights into your face, and you can't see theirs. He also logged in in the middle of my answer from one more device, so I could see two persons with the same name, not sure whether it was the same person or different people logged in from the same account twice. Level of anxiety I felt was very high, and it was hard to think clearly. The questions were mostly some theory which you can find in most of "Interview questions" pdfs. No deeper conversation and no feedback on your answer, as if he had "the correct ones" and marking them down against yours. Not sure whether this guy have some personal issues and he enjoys exercising being in power, but it was my mistake to continue with the interview and let him have his moments of enjoyment. I can see that lot of people have good experience, so it means that Luxoft has some good guys as an interviewers, however mine experience was bad, and my rating as well.
