Process consisted of few stages: - chat with recruiter (nothing out of ordinary) - take home assignment - review of the take home assignment - beer test (casual chat with some team members incl. CTO to see if fit is good) The home assignment was ok, something you would do on daily basics if you build back-end APIs. Took me longer than estimated 6h as it was supposed to be working backend service including database. If you add some tests, Open API, README it all adds up and takes some time. Nevertheless I still preferred that type of interview as this is something you actually do as senior dev at work so no preparation was needed, just some time to do the assignment. Many companies these days gives you LeetCode type of interviews which isn't what you do on daily basics so you need to spend some time practicing LeetCode and you can still fail. On the review assignment you can defend your solution and you will probably be asked some technical/design questions. Beer test was a meeting for me to ask questions about the company and get to know people to see if that would be a good fit.
