The hiring process was long and you definitely need someone to go to bat for you from the inside otherwise you would need exceptional skills to be noticed.
You would inteview with many managers before some decides to make the final decision. The interview processes is done by and in person. However, the in=person interviews may not always occur in the office which is good.

They really want to make sure the Management consulting profession is for you. Therefore, be prepared to answer question on this subject in detail.
It was a very straightforward interview. I enjoyed talking to everyone, and it looks like a really nice firm. I would like to accept the offer, but I need to give it some thought.
Telefoninterview über Teams - mit Partner und Manager. Zuerst Personal Fit, CV präsentieren, dann fachliche Fragen im Bankensektor (z.B. beobachtete Trends). Am Ende ausreichend Zeit für Fragen und sonstige Themen. Rückmeldung kam telefonisch nach 2 Wochen.

Primarily a behavioral interview over 3 rounds. Some questions were a bit off-topic, but also meant to learn more about you. First met with the hiring manager and then 2 managers. I did not get an offer and also asked for feedback, but got no response.
