After four rounds of interviews and receiving very positive feedback from management, I was scheduled for a fifth interview and advised I needed to take a Personality Test and CCAT Test (cognitive exam). With significant experience and leadership, I am confident that I am the right person to fill this position. Unfortunately, due to Infoblox's hiring guidelines (e.g., CCAT), and lack of transparency that this is a Pass/Fail test, which I learned after inquiring, I have decided not to move forward with my final interview. My hope for Infoblox HR is they revisit/rethink hiring guidelines for all roles as passing a cognitive test does not reflect an individual's success and career trajectory. It is unfortunate that Infoblox overlooks talent, skill, experience, capabilities and relies on aptitude (passing a CCA T) over the right attitude and ability to do the job.
