6 Interviews in my case....I spoke with the recruiter first, then the hiring manager then with three peers ...they requested several references including ex supervisors (who asks for references any longer?) ....I followed up with everyone with emails and texts....then they ghosted me and stopped responding....no feedback whatsoever....I estimate that I had invested 10 hours into the process including research, actual interviews, writing emails, then contacting references to ask for their permission to have their contact information distributed ....the HR rep finally responded with the anemic and pathetic 'They went in a different direction'. I was shocked by the lack of professionalism
