The application and selection process was split into the following: After submitting a CV online I was sent to an online assessment to test my IT skills, ranging from TCP port numbers to describing RAID configurations. If your score is high enough, one of the Talent Scouts calls you back for a chat about the role and your experience. If this goes well you are then scheduled in for a phone interview with a Support Services team leader. This is more of a quick fire quiz, a bit like the initial online assessment so expect questions "describe DNS in a way an end user could understand", "What is RAID5" and so on. If you impress at this stage, this is when you are selected for the final interview round. This is an in person interview with two Support Services team leaders. Because of my geographic location I was allowed to do this via Skype which was really helpful. The final interview lasts about an hour, and the questions are more in depth with the usual scenarios ranging from technical to not technical giving you a chance to show how you approach problems and deal with people.
- "What is RAID 5?"
- "Tell me about a time you received great customer service?"
- "How would you describe DNS to a non-technically minded person"

First round was a 30 minute phone call with the hiring manager. It was relatively basic and I felt the purpose was to validate the contents of the CV and skills mix. The second stage was a f2f interview with the hiring manager and a future peer. The first part was to create and deliver presentation (no preparation before the interview), and the second was a competency based STAR type format. Both the interviewers were relatively young, friendly and approachable.

Great interview process. Open conversation. It enabled me to gain further information on the role. I felt it was a fair and interesting process. There was a phone interview, a face to face and then a final face to face.
- Where I would like to be in 5 years

Solicité el puesto a través de un captador. El proceso duró 1 semana. Acudí a una entrevista en IT Lab en mar 2016
Online questionnaire followed by a brief telephone interview and then face to face informal interview. The interviewer seemed disinterested from the beginning, probably exhausted by interviewing all day. He also was working from a laptop during this which felt like there was a lack of communication and interest which reflected in my performance and confidence. There was no structure and introduction regarding the company and role requirement and jumped straight into questions without any key focus about the position. Company came across slightly pretentious during the process and delayed response post interview.
- Tell me about yourself?
- Strength & weaknesses
- What does their Company do?
- Where do you see yourself in 5 years time?
- What would you like to change about yourself that you don't like?
- How would you rate this interview from a scale of 1-10?

Empleado anónimo en Cape Town
Solicité el puesto a través de la recomendación de un empleado. El proceso duró 1 semana. Acudí a una entrevista en IT Lab (Cape Town) en nov 2015
First you will go through a phone call screening process where they ask you basic questions to see your base-level technical capabilities and see if you would be a cultural fit. Once they decide on an in-person interview, you will be in a room with local middle-management and 2-3 Senior London/Manchester Engineers / Managers. Each will take their time asking you questions (often they make them far too hard to see how you will go through the process of figuring it out). The interviewers are almost always very friendly guys and while may appear tough at first, they will be very understanding so long as you are honest and yourself. I would suggest bringing a sweater as they like to make the interview room too cold to put you under 'pressure'.
- "What is flow control in a storage or networking sense?"

Four-stage interview; test, telephone, test, face to face. The first test was online on the company website. The telephone interview was with one of the managers. The second test was in the company headquarters and it was followed with face to face interview with the Operations Manager and Line Manager.
- What does "Service Obsession" mean to you?

Very good process, elaborate, detailed. You have to take an online skills test when you submit your CV. If you get chosen for an interview then you have a more detailed skills test. If you are successful and have a good interview with the line manager then you get called for another interview with the HR department. You might be asked to do a personality test as well before you get offered a job.
- None comes to mind I'm afraid
