I submitted my resume on line and received a call from a recruiter a few days later. At the initial phone screen with the recruiter we discussed the position and salary and set up a time to meet with 2 managers face to face. First interview went well but never heard back from anyone for over a week so I reached out to the recruiter and was told I was getting a second interview with another sales manager and director and if that interview went good I would probably receive an offer. The second interview went very well but was told that the next step was to have a third interview and job shadow. Another week had gone by and I had to reach out to the recruiter again. I had a third interview scheduled with another director and then a few days before was told I didn't need to have the face to face interview that I was going to have a phone interview with a market specialist. That final interview lasted about 15 mins. and we talked about everything pretty except the position itself. All sounded good as if I was going to get an offer at anytime. I then had to follow up with the recruiter the next week and never heard back from the recruiter and received an email 2 days later from HR that I was no longer being considered for the position. All this was about a 7 week process and very frustrating as a candidate. I was not sure what exactly they were looking for since this position was posted for 4-5 months prior.
