Interview process was just for the formalities. They needed the task for their own use. Don't go to this Company for interview, simply they are just wasting our valuable time. Showoff is the only thing that they have properly. After few simple questions, they had asked me to develop a WordPress Plugin, the requirement was: User Story: As a user I want to show my social media activity from different social media sites(Stack Overflow, Facebook, Twitter). So that I can see my activity in a single place. Acceptance criteria: 1) Need to have a admin setting form to configure social media credentials. 2) The plug-in should have "short-code" feature so that can show the activity in different page. 3) Need to show the activity in real time manner. 4) The pages/feeds to be stored in a XML file. 5) The plug-in should be testable using PHP unit test framework. 6) The plug-in should follow WordPress coding & documentation standards. I had developed the WordPress Plugin as per the requirements and updated to my personal GitHub Repository and sent them the link. The WordPress Plugin was working properly. They didn't even called after the completion of the given task. After one week I called the HR person, she replied, by saying that the client had rejected my candidature due to the technical requirement, although the task was delivered on time and it was functioning properly and been approved by their internal technical team. Pros:- They are very good in these kind of business, of getting the codes from the candidates and selling it to the clients and rejecting the candidates by saying some other reasons. Cons:- I had contributed to the GyanMatrix Technologies for free of cost. If any other candidates are willing to make their hands dirty, you are always welcome. Don't believe on the ratings, all of them are fake.
