The interview sessions were handled by both Google internally and by a vendor. The internal sessions were fine, but the sessions partially managed by the vendor recruiter were a bad experience. They sent a form asking for your availability with 10-15 slots, but they still proceeded with a slot that wasn’t on your list. They initially told you that you weren’t selected, but then you received an interview request from a Googler, which made the process slightly confusing.

If you’re going to launch a product in APAC, what it will be? Why?
The process is really complicated, questions are really detailed. Need to prepare. Wishing you all huge success! I had 3 rounds and a prep call. Recruiters are really easy going and responsive.
Disorganized recruiting with random meeting invites with no explanations. Interviewer wasn’t welcoming at all and seemed to not care at all about the interview. The feedback call after the interview sounded like recruiter was reading an AI generating summary of the interview, which felt not personal at all. Overall awful experience.

Apparently only 2 rds of interviews this process. Though the 2nd interview consists of 2 45min interviews in one.
