El proceso duró 4 meses. Acudí a una entrevista en Google (San Francisco, CA) en mar 2022

Most prolonged interview process ever, but 100% worth the wait and patience. Everything took around 4-5 months. Google’s recruiting team reached out a month after I submitted my application. From the data, only 20%-25% of the 200-1000+ applicants get a phone screen. 15%-20% of the phone screened candidates move forward to virtual onsite. 15%-20% of those candidates move forward with the final virtual onsite.
Google wants you to succeed. The recruiting team provides many resources to help you prep for the interviews. 4 interviewers, including the recruiter, from the phone screen—6 questions per interviewer, both behavioral and hypothetical. Unlike Amazon, which does all behavioral questions, Google focuses more on hypothetical questions/scenarios to test your critical thinking skills.

Signed an NDA, so I can’t say much, but what I can say is they don’t ask brain teaser questions anymore.
The process is really complicated, questions are really detailed. Need to prepare. Wishing you all huge success! I had 3 rounds and a prep call. Recruiters are really easy going and responsive.
Disorganized recruiting with random meeting invites with no explanations. Interviewer wasn’t welcoming at all and seemed to not care at all about the interview. The feedback call after the interview sounded like recruiter was reading an AI generating summary of the interview, which felt not personal at all. Overall awful experience.
