I was approached by a recruiter for this position. An hour interview with two different individuals, one with the hiring manager and second with her right-hand man. The overall interview was relatively easy with the hiring manager, where she is looking more into your attitude and how well are you able to fit into her team's culture. However, for the second interview with her right-hand man, he drills down on the technical aspects of your knowledge and skillsets. It doesn't have to be relative to the job, rather what you have done in your spare time or at your current job. The key takeaway from this is not to fumble in the interview. Be prepared to be capable of breakdown your past experience (be it relative or not) and deliver your explanation well to the interviewers. It is alright not to have relative experience but, good to have a great attitude and desire to learn.
