Solicité el puesto por otro medio. El proceso duró 5 semanas. Acudí a una entrevista en Genentech (South San Francisco, CA)
Entrevista
Most people are aware that Genentech is a tough place to get hired. They only hire talent they consider to be top-of-the-class. Be aware that they also do sham interviews. Apparently, to mine ideas and information from to-of-the class candidates. It seems terribly unethical and would be nearly impossible to prove.

I was given many detailed technical problem scenarios and asked how to solve them. By all measures, they were not hypothetical. They were looking for creative solutions to existing problems.
I completed a recruiter screening via Google Meet. They initiated the call to review my background and asked several specific questions regarding the experience and skills listed on my resume.
There was an initial call with talent agent going over technical qualifications from your CV. You can ask questions about the position.
If everything is good, they'll schedule you for a seminar to the team where you'll live a 40-45ish minute presentation with questions after.
