Solicité el puesto a través de un captador. El proceso duró 6 semanas. Acudí a una entrevista en GenMark Diagnostics (Carlsbad, CA) en ene 2013
Entrevista
I was contacted by them through an on-site recruiter. They took care of my flight, car rental and hotel, which was very nice. The interview process was very well organized and i got to meet with various groups. I was there during some of remodeling, but what I saw looked very welcoming and professional. They offered me a great salary and complete across-country moving expenses, but ultimately I decided I was not ready to make the move.

They had me redline a test plan and then go over why I made the corrections I had.

Entrevista
Three stage interview process: started with HR phone call, followed by a virtual interview panel and then an in person panel with the same people plus other member(s) of the team

Pregunta 1
HR phone call was mainly asking about skills/experience listed on resume and describing the role, and then the panels were mainly technical knowledge questions with some situational/behavioral
Examples:
-How you would approach designing an experiment
-Explaining techniques you've listed on your resume in detail (both theory and in practice)
-Knowing concepts/theory behind whatever skills they've listed on the job listing is a plus
Someone who knows their stuff would do well in the interview, I was not that person, sadly. But the interviewers were very nice even though I was clearly inexperienced/out of my element
