Interviewers asked those types of questions that are some corner knowledge of Linux. Also there were questions that are just personal opinions, such as C vs C++ which is better. Only a few algorithm questions and they were all way too easy. To identify real talented software engineers you have to give more challenging algorithm questions! Thank god no brain teaser though.
