Envié una solicitud electrónica. El proceso duró 3 meses. Acudí a una entrevista en Epic (Knoxville, TN) en jun 2021
Entrevista
The interview process was long, but mostly positive overall. I was approached by a recruiter in March for a phone interview, which was pretty short and mostly just informational.
About two or three weeks later I was sent an email to complete a few skills assessments. The assessments were difficult but manageable, one being more based on coding which I'm not great at but I am familiar with. The second assessment was based much more on math and arithmetic skills. I thought I did fairly well, however I received a notice that Epic was moving forward with other candidates about a week afterwards (now about May). I really liked Epic's reputation so I submitted another application which was rejected again by late May. After another opening, I was selected to the final interview stage in early June.
The final interview took about four hours in total, with multiple conversations with different employees at Epic. It was virtual but they made it very laid back, and it was mostly just a discussion of the position and normal responsibilities. Afterwards, there was a case study conducted, and I was given a page worth of information to read over and write notes about, and a series of questions and follow-ups were asked by the interviewer. After the case study there was the presentation portion, in which you have 10 minutes to present on any subject you are knowledgeable in. It was more about presentation skills than anything else. It concluded with a 20-ish minute conversation with the HR member. There were just a few questions asked and more information about the position was given.
The entire process was pretty long, but the employees were all great to speak to and answered any questions I had about the roles. I received an offer exactly a week after the final interview, which I accepted.

Pregunta 1
During the case study: What is something you thought I would ask about but I didn't?
The process is very intense. Three or more hours of explanation, exams, and a presentation I had to create. The exams were both logic games and a personality test. I was preparing for weeks.

Explain a process that you find interesting. This can be any process - manufacturing, distribution of products, or a method to create something.
Not invested in who they're hiring if they rely heavily on multiple assessments for applicants to take (personality quiz, etc). These are unpaid and take hours. A poor use of time.
Intro zoom call, and several hours of tests on a lockdown browser before even getting to have the first ten minute phone interview. Phone interview was basically combing through my resume and any gaps.
