The interview process for Epic is pretty extensive, but you will come away knowing what you are getting into. It started for me when I was contacted by a recruiter through my University's job finding service. I filled out an application and was then contacted to do a phone interview; I did a lot of research before the phone interview, which ended up being very casual with questions mostly concerning my application, and why I was interested in Epic. I was talking to someone in the role I was interested in, so I asked quite a few questions about his experience. Next came the skills assessment and personality test. The invitation to do this typically comes through email a day or so after the phone interview. I did the personality test first, it was pretty standard, and I don't have much to say about it. The skills assessment was proctored and quite time consuming (2+ hrs). It consisted of three parts: simple coding/comprehension questions, verbal reasoning, and mathematical/logical reasoning. I didn't think it was too difficult, but I would recommend doing it when you are well rested. I was then contacted over the phone by an HR representative and asked more questions regarding my future plans, interests in Epic, etc. At the end of this conversation I was then invited to participate in an onsite interview. I waited until fall break to do this part (several weeks) which Epic accommodated. The onsite interview was an all-day affair, but overall casual and very informative. There were a couple more interview stages and a few more coding questions while onsite.
