I applied online and then a couple of days later their HR representative reached out to me to schedule an online interview. At first I thought it was just with the HR rep but the day before the interview I was informed it was with the hiring manager and CFO. The interview was scheduled for an hour but they only asked me about 3-4 questions so it ended up being much shorter. The CFO did not speak during the interview so it turned it to more of a one on one with the hiring manager. I found the interview questions to be pretty standard and surface level, there was not a lot of deep conversation about the company, the role, or my qualifications. However after the interview I was told they'd reach back out by the end of the week but they ended up ghosting me and sending no follow up. I sent a follow up email asking for an update and again received no answer. I am used to not hearing back from job applications but I believe that if there has been an interview that they should send some form of quick follow up and to send no response is quite unprofessional. Overall I found the experience pretty unprofessional as they did not really communicate the process clearly and the interview itself was not very productive.
