Envié una solicitud electrónica. El proceso duró 3 semanas. Acudí a una entrevista en EarnIn (Palo Alto, CA) en feb 2019
Entrevista
1 phone call with a senior recruiter
1 phone call with the hiring manager
They sent me a project to work on while scheduling the in-person interview.
The in-person interview was several hours. I had discussions with team members, the hiring manager, presented the projected I worked on, had a culture fit chat, and then had a conversation with the senior recruiter at the end.
Don't waste your time interviewing here. I wasted a day of PTO and was ghosted by the senior recruiter even though she said she was going to get back to me very soon. I ended up getting an offer elsewhere - so thankfully I dodged a bullet!
1) 30 min recruiter phone screen
2) 30 min call with hiring manager
3) on-site with a couple of team members, including hiring manager
Also included a case study with the hiring manager
Overall people seemed nice and friendly when I was there and seemed like a good culture and environment, and I saw myself fitting into the company as I went through the interviews.
I didn't like the fact they ghosted me after a few weeks and sent a very impersonal standard email saying they're moving forward with other candidates after a follow-up. I understand this is very standard practice with companies and they have every right to do it this way, but it's not what you expect out of a company like Earnin with what they preach with treating people right with their product. I would have appreciated closure either from the recruiter or the hiring manager directly, which I didn't get.
The lack of communication and impersonal tone after I interviewed with them left a slightly bitter taste.
