The interview first stage was a technical assessment, more on machine learning and statistics. The second stage was an online interview with one interviewer. The question are mostly common interview questions and talk more on previous projects. The last interview is the physical one, which was rescheduled many times by their side.

What is the challenge I had during my last project
The manager seemed like a data scientist with no expertise for new workflows in Agents and modern Architectures that are used with LLMs. Interview stacked on simple terminologies with no deep dive for architectures and knowledge in the topic.

Colloquio con HR in cui parla solo lui/lei e tu devi descrivere sommariamente cosa fai.
Poi colloquio con Manager che mi ha sottoposto un quiz di logica. Si è mostrato molto disponibile ad aiutare nel ragionamento risolutivo.
L'ultimo colloquio con un altro Manager è stato più tecnico e si sono discussi tradeoff di varie tecniche di RAG.
Tutto sommato molto tranquillo.

Entrevista
I went through the interview process twice with EY.
The first time, my interview was canceled with a rejection sent just one day before the scheduled meeting, which was disappointing.
The second time, I completed two interviews. The technical discussion was well-structured and professional. However, the second interview felt unprepared and lacked structure, focusing mostly on general and personal questions rather than role-relevant topics.
After the process, I was advised to “reach out,” despite having already completed formal interviews. The final rejection mentioned that my experience did not match, but no specific feedback was provided, even after requesting it.
Overall, the experience felt inconsistent and lacked clear communication and transparency throughout the process.
