Entrevista
An average general interview throughout for the KL, Malaysia office. What pissed me off is the follow up. Towards the end of the interview, I was told that there would be an online test and I would receive the invitation by end of the day. 3 working days passed and no news or update. I contacted one of the recruiter to ask for an update, and the feedback I received was "XXX recruiter just attended project meeting today & got an update from the hiring team that the requirements have been changed. At the moment, we need someone at Senior (5+ y.o.e) & Lead level only."
People are not as foolish as you believe them to be. Firstly, you were saying that the hiring managers changed the requirements in a meeting 3 working days later yet I was supposed to receive the test way before that. Did you mean to say you were already aware of it way before but didn't care enough to update? Secondly, the job posting is still up on their website. It is fine to reject a candidate, but please do it professionally and try not to lie about it, and certainly do not promise anything if you're unsure. Both your and my time are valuable so please don't waste them.

The job posting I applied to was almost certainly a PERM ad designed to prevent American applicants from applying to their American branch. Firstly, the job description listed "Bachelor's Degree or 3 years relevant experience". It also listed knowledge of data and AI techniques, but virtually no responsibilities or other info.
The interview claimed I needed to have 10+ years of experience, as well as data bricks knowledge (which was also not listed in any requirements). The interview lasted 15 total minutes.

A recruiter reached out to me on LinkedIn and invited me to interview, which at first seemed genuine and professional. The conversation was in English, focused on my background and skills, and they even showed me a few potential roles to discuss which one I preferred. This gave me the impression that I would likely move forward in the process.
However, by the end of the interview, I was told my skills weren’t enough and that they might contact me in the future if a more suitable role opened up. They never followed up, yet the same positions keep being reposted. It left me wondering why they contacted me in the first place if only to say I wasn’t enough for the role. Overall, it felt more like a ghost posting than a job offer that I was really expecting.

They asked me to describe my background, skills, and which of the roles they presented I thought was the best fit.
Phone interview with HR, online technical test, which included many detailed questions about data science, and a technical interview, which took 1.5 hours with detailed questions. It was time-consuming, and they ghosted me.
