5 rounds of Interview consisting of 4 rounds of coding and System design and last round of managerial questions about handling different situations. Questions were not that difficult but after 5th round, got to know that I was rejected imspite of answering well. Interviewer had told about 1 more round of discussions with his manager but never got call again. No exact reason given nor communications made and finally I had to call recruiter to know the result. It took about 3 weeks for whole process to get completed.

Technical Phone screen (system-design/past-project-deep-dive), followed by virtual onsite (3-4 behavioral rounds focused on management/leadership) and 1 system design module. The interviewees were a mixed bag. Many of them really down to earth, communicated with humility, engaged with you. A couple of interviews left a bad taste. The technical phone screen interviewer was constantly cutting me off, and diving off in different tangents. I was expecting to be rejected at phone screen, but surprised to be invited to onsite. During onsite, most of the interviewers were humble, asked good questions . The system design interviewer was good too, and was engaged in discussing trade offs and how to build. One of the interviewers on the behavioral round however felt like they were rushed, showed up late with no apology, acted like they were a big deal at amazon. There was a lack of politeness in the way they asked and answered questions. I felt I did reasonably well in all the modules, but didnt receive an offer. Kept me waiting for weeks because they were also talking to other candidates. Its a company with a mixed bag of people and culture.
