Several calls and a half day onsite interview. First call was to verify I was interested, second was my direct supervisor to describe the job and challenges I'd face, third was a technical interview. Then I had an onsite with my direct supervisor and three senior team members. The process was thorough and gave them a good idea of not just what I knew but what my interests and passions are. In most cases teams are looking more to see how you think than what you know.
