I applied online through the DigitalOcean website and was then contacted by a recruiter about two weeks later. From there, the recruiter arranged my virtual interviews with the hiring manager and the team. I had one interview with the hiring manager, and then four subsequent technical interviews. After the interviews concluded, I received an offer approximately a week later.

Quite standard interview process with initial phone conversation, several video call conversations with representatives from different departments and final conversation with HR to make sure that both parties on the same page. I was expecting more hands-on-labs activity, but as it turned out verbal explanations were enough. HR did a great job with follow-ups and answered all my intermediate questions.
