I had an initial call with the recruiter asking me basic information like my intentions, expectations (including salary expectations), and some basic work background. This was followed up with a phone interview and an onsite interview with multiple people from my team. Everything about the interview process was great and very welcoming. It really feels like they value you and expressed it both in their communications and actions. The people came across as really genuine and we spoke a lot about where my career is going, where the industry is going, and they acted as almost a mentor during the interview process itself. It wasn't political and that made me feel really comfortable during the whole process. The people that interviewed me understood that I'm a person and isn't born just to work here, and probably have ambitions outside of Credit Karma. They were also very good at telling me what the next steps were and when I can expect an answer. Although the communications were generally later in the day so it kept me wondering for the good chunk of the day when I was expecting the answer. Overall the experience was one of the better ones I've been through.
