Got a mail from the recruiter asking me for a time to set up a phone interview. We decided on a date and time which clashed with my current job but I took an early off to make time for this interview. The interview was scheduled for 4pm but the guy never called! I waited and at 4:30pm I sent him an email just to check if anything's wrong. To my surprise, I received an automated reply which said that he was out from Friday(the day of the interview) till next tuesday! If he was not going to be available for the interview, shouldn't he have the courtesy to atleast inform me that the interview has been postponed or whatever? An example of utter unprofessionalism. On Tuesday, I sent him another email, just for reminder sake for which I never got any reply(not even an automated one). I don't know what happened, if they changed their mind or I was dealing with a really novice recruiter, this whole thing just wasted a lot of my time.
