I felt compelled to review my interview at this company because it was the most bizarre interview I have ever experienced. I was told I was interviewing with the HR Manager but given no information beyond that even when I pressed for further detail was only told her first name. When I arrived I was early to make a good impression and was kept waiting for a half hour after our scheduled time, not too big of a deal though. When I was brought into the conference room I found out she was the co-owner of the company which I was surprised that I was getting to meet on the initial interview but given it is a family owned company I guess that is not too surprising. The interview got increasingly uncomfortable when she mentioned her political views in the first couple minutes (big Trump supporters). I do not think an interview or the workplace in general is the place for that to be brought up. Furthermore we were interrupted multiple times. Then to top it off she began talking about a clear case of sexual harassment within the office where a member of their staff had multiple complaints brought to her attention of him disrespecting woman in the office and referring to them as "babe" or "hunny". Honestly the whole interview seemed like a big joke.
