This job role was for Cognos Administrator. The Interview process took approx. 40 days. There were 3 technical rounds out of which the first round was taken by the HR using a predefined questionnaire. The Second round took place 4 days post the 1st round which included a panel of Lead, Senior Engineer and the Technical Manager. The Questions were asked in depth on Cognos including Linux commands, networking, SQL. Basically all about installation in single server and distributed installation and configuration. Questions are asked on IHS, SSL and Site-minder authentication. Third round was conducted 2 weeks post the 2nd round. It was a client round and the panel consisted of 2 tech managers from On-site. There were a lot of technical questions again. Personality test: There was one question regarding my favorite person in my life. As I answered it simply and honestly they were pretty much satisfied by my answer. Result: 4 days post my 3rd round, I got an email to fill and send the application form. Note: This interview is difficult for people who don't have in-depth experience on cognos analytics installation and configuration. So do some homework on how the installation and configuration process works. And also the troubleshooting process when an issue is reported on cognos.
