Waited in lobby for interview for very long time, they finally came out to get me 45 minutes later. Asked basic detailed accounting and valuation questions, questioned my commitment to banking given my lack of an i-banking internship. Pretty much told me they were looking for someone with more experience right there in the room. Didn't get 2nd round.

The interview process at Citi followed a fairly standard bulge bracket structure and was well organized overall. After submitting my application online, I was contacted by HR for an initial screening call that focused primarily on my background, interest in investment banking, and motivation for applying to Citi. This call was conversational and lasted about 20–30 minutes. The first formal interview round consisted of one-on-one interviews with analysts and associates. These interviews included a mix of behavioral and technical questions. Behavioral questions focused on my past experiences, teamwork, leadership, and reasons for pursuing investment banking and Citi specifically. Technical questions covered core valuation concepts, including DCF methodology, enterprise value, and how changes in depreciation affect financial statements
