It was a combination of technical interview and group discussion. Candidates are grouped into 7 to 8. The whole interview consists of 3 parts. The first one was a written test including English writing and translating a paragraph into Chinese. The materials also include 3 articles and each candidate may choose a topic they like to discuss further later in the group discussion. The second stage was a technical interview where the interviewer asked the candidates questions one by one and then raise a question for group discussion. The last stage was group discussion where we discussed the 3 articles we read during the written test. The discussion was not guided and candidates could shift among the three topics and discuss freely. Among each group, only one could be invited to the super day.
