The hiring manager was 8 minutes late to start the interview though she did apologize for it. The interview started out rushed and slightly discriminating which I attributed to my age and race (56 y/o cauc. male). While she explained the role, expectations, etc she seemed put off. When she asked me to summarize my experience and fit it was out of routine rather than of interest in my abilities or contributions to the job. Anytime I would ask a follow up or clarifying question I was either cut off or made to feel inferior. Needless to say I was not offered the position. Had I been offered it I would have turned it down.
